    Coaches got a chance to show their players some of their skills! It was a packed crowd and fun was had by all! Thanks for all who attended and helped to make this a fun family event that went smoothly.

    Congratulations to 4 players from the Whalers U10 B Squirt team (Max, Easton, Chris and Connor)

    Congratulations to 4 players from the Whalers Squirt B team (Max, Easton, Chris and Connor) for qualifying to represent all Rhode Island Squirt level players in a 3 v 3 tournament at TD Garden Boston later this year. Thank you to RI Hockey and the dedicat

    Mission Statement

    Newport County Youth Hockey Association (NCYHA) is a non-profit youth hockey association open to all youths eighteen (18) and under in the Newport County region.

     

    NCYHA is run completely by volunteers – the Board of Directors, coaches, and committee members are all volunteers.

     

    NCYHA is affiliated with the Rhode Island Amateur Hockey Association (RIAHA) and USA Hockey.

    NCYHA is organized to provide youths with an amateur hockey development program implemented through skill development and competition.

     

    NCYHA recognizes a broad range of ability and commitment among its participants and strives to provide the appropriate level of instruction and competition to all.

    4:00 to 8:00 PM

    St. George’s Ice Rink

     

    Donor Pick-Up Game 2/20/26 at 6pm at St. Georges

     

    The Whalers group or team that donates the most pints gets a free sheet of ice!

     

    *Come well hydrated and bring a photo ID!

    Note: Donate blood by 12/8/25 to be eligible to donate again on 2/2/26.
