The Newport Whalers were chosen as one of a very small number of programs to participate in the Boston Bruins and TD Bank PASS Program this year. The PASS (Partnership to Assist Skaters & Shooters) aims to help develop skills and provide opportunities for hockey players in the region at the Squirt and PeeWee level. With this program, we received the opportunity to host a skills clinic for 50 Pee Wee and Squirt aged players on January 27 featuring Boston Bruins alumni Bill Bennett and Tom Songis, a donation to our program, and 100 tickets to the Bruins game against the LA Kings on December 17th.
Is your hockey player new to the Whalers or perhaps a bit bigger than last season? Order a new jersey, extra game socks or a practice jersey by contacting Brian Hawkins, Whalers Equipment Manager.
