We will very soon be holding elections to fill five positions on the NCYHA Board of Directors, and are now accepting nominations from those who would like to run.
This year, the following positions are up for election or will have vacant seats available:
Board meetings are held once a month, and cover the various challenges and initiatives that the organization works on throughout the year. Board members have specific tasks, but also contribute to the overall discussions, and to the decision-making process for NCYHA. These meetings are also attended by members of the NCYHA "Advisory Board" - a group of parents who hold key volunteer positions in the organization.
We'd also like to initiate more fundraising efforts to help keep our season fees as affordable as possible for families and are looking for a Sponsorship Director(s) to join our Advisory Board.
