Squirt A2 Team - Champions!
If the rinks seemed extra quiet last weekend (Nov. 21-23) it's because the Whalers travel teams hit the road to Springfield, MA and the Holy Name Icebreaker Tournament. It's become somewhat of a tradition for the Whalers to embark on this road trip and the teams were ready. The Whalers grabbed the Squirt B championship in an exciting game, beating Groton 4-3. Whalers Bantam A & B teams both made it to their respective championship rounds, only to see the B Team lose in overtime and the A team played a tight game, sadly losing 2-1 in thier finals. Still - an impressive effort! Congratulations Whalers!
